Kathleen Gannon is a graduate of Lesley University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy. As a lifelong anime and comic book fan, she has seen the power of media in her personal life and through her work with clients as a clinician. Her master’s thesis, “Parasocial Relationships with Fictional Characters in Therapy,” is published through Digital Commons and her work has been quoted in various articles about pop culture. In her spare time, she is currently working on her first novel.
