Arden Powell is a speculative-fiction author and illustrator from the Canadian East Coast. A nebulous entity, they live with a small terrier and an exorbitant number of houseplants, and have conversations with both. Their first novel, A Summer Soundtrack for Falling in Love, came out in 2018 from Riptide Publishing, followed by the indie releases of The Faerie Hounds of York and The Bayou. They are a 2013 graduate of St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Honouring in English Literature. When not writing, they are likely drawing, walking the dog, or tending their indoor forest, and can be found on twitter @ArdenPowell. Everything they write is queer.
